Music Production

Though the duties of the producer can vary depending on the project, the ultimate goal is to achieve the best representation of the music being created. Whether guiding the artists recording process from the start of the arrangement process, or remixing material from previous recordings, we aim for high fidelity and musical creativity that supports the projects we work on.

The technical facilities allow much, or all of the process to completed within the familiar environment of m:k:soundworks. From music arrangement to record production. Whether it be acoustic music requiring the supervision of live musicians, or electronic music programming.

Production experience at m:k:soundworks has involved the building of complete albums for bands, co-writing material with solo artists, and the creation of full instrumental tracks for songwriters in many styles. Mixing

It is becoming increasingly common that productions are being started or continued in smaller production spaces. When submitting tracks to be mixed at m:k:soundworks we promise a quick turnaround and focus to the intent of the material. The studio is setup to allow a wide variety of mix techniques and signal paths. Our customized equipment is assembled and built to allow only the best possible quality output while allowing us to bring out or add a degree of character that is very unique to our process.
